Barbara Isbister completed a Master’s degree in Applied Linguistics at the University of London, following a degree in English. She was Head of Academic English at the University of London, SOAS. In addition, Barbara has taught English Literature, Language and been a teacher trainer at university and college levels in London and Sussex. ‘What in Life Were Wings’ is her debut novel.
