He is the Chief Medical Officer for Promises-Austin and Right Step and has a private addiction medicine practice in Houston, TX. Dr. Powers was recognized by H Texas Magazine six times as one of the best addiction medicine doctors in Houston and was the recipient of the Compassion Award from Sierra Tuscon.
