Whispers of The Heart Our hearts can say so many things And many people it can touch With little meaning you say words But to the other it means so much
Your heart can whisper And can talk When it is troubled It still can walk.
Your heart can jump And it can fall It can be heard And still can call.
Your heart can move Or stay in places It can bring smiles On many faces.
It can frown And it can laugh It can realize Who it can have.
Your heart can tell you the truth For it can never lie When someone holds a piece of it That love can never die.
Each whisper of the heart Takes us near or far Our hearts stand in place and stand for who we are.
You Can Not Judge Me
Until you know who I am ...
Do not judge me by my appearance, Or by the way I talk. Do not judge me by the way I act, Or by the way I walk. Do not judge me for what I ask, or what I can not do. Do not judge me on what I fear, Or in comparison to you. Do not judge me by the way I sing Or by the way I laugh. Do not judge me by my tears, Or by the friends I have. Do not judge me by my speech, Or by my weight; big or thin, Do not judge me by my habits, Or by the color of my skin. You can not judge me on what I feel, Or from what you see, Until you know who I am, you can not judge me.
The Quiet Road
Many people scream Many people cry But we can not hear any of that And we do not know why
People die for a reason And still are children born But we do not understand Why we bleed from a thorn.
Why do we feel hurt If all it is, is pain? What is the point of anything If it drives us insane?
What's the point of life If all it is for joke, What is to be taken seriously? If on every word we choke.
Why is there so much talking When no one hears a thing? We laugh at what is true, But means everything.
What is our role in life If we all end up dead? What makes us talk of others When you don't think of what is said?
The are two roads we travel, One is quiet, and one is loud ... "few take the quiet road, To avoid the bigger crowd."
Guilt
My eyes of tears; My heart of fear; My pride now shame; My victories are lost; My failures at cost; My honor ... I've lost.
I Give Myself To You
I give myself to you For you have my heart, Together forever, We shall never be apart I give my hands to you For them to fight your fears, For if you ever cry, They will wipe away your tears. I give my heart to you, For you to love and hold, To let you know that I am there Deep in the nights so cold. I give my life to you To make your dreams come true, And for being mine, I give myself to you.
I Ran Away
I ran away from my dreams And alone I left my heart, I went to where I did not know To let my life restart.
Lonely did I live, For years to be unknown Lost from many hearts All to be alone.
For what did I expect, I did not ever find, but knowing the mistake, I had left my life behind.
Would I return, From the things I left before, My dreams, my life, my heart, To find what would be in store.
Would my heart still be loved? And would they even care? Would my life accept me back? Would my dreams be there?
The "Eye" Of Your Heart
It is not who is better than who It is not who is greater than one It is not who is strong and stands Or who is weak and runs
It is not the voice that is always heard Or the mind that only speaks, It is not the choices one makes alone, Or the tears that may fall down one's cheeks.
It's not the pain that one may cause Or dreams that one chases It's not the advantages or risks one takes It's not the frowns or angry faces.
It's not the one who always wins Or the one that always gets to choose It's not who's smarter than someone else Or the fights that one may win or lose.
It's about standing together Not walking alone It's working together It's the feelings shown
It's the hand that one lends When someone's in need It's the heart that speaks Together to succeed.
It's the power of friendship and Getting along It's not about who's right But giving help to who's wrong
It's not about failures Or things that one may earn It's not what one says, But what's heard in return.
It's not ones mistakes But from them what is learned It's the flame to the candle That gives what is burned.
It's not the differences But the effects and outcomes It's about trying and helping One not to run.
It's how good you make one feel After talking with you It's the realities in life That everyone goes through
It's not our race, Or the color of our skin It's believing in yourself And who you are within.
It's not what people see Or what they think of you It's what you think of yourself And making it true.
It's not the look in the eyes It's the strength without shove What's said in the eyes Shows the greatness of love
It's about thinking of others With your pride on the shelf
It's about believing in others And not just in yourself
It's about rising and falling Not one of the same It's not revenge or justice Or reaching fame.
It's about talking together And working things out It's pain you feel That you are never without
It's not our names But who we all are It's striving together For us to move far
It's not contradicting by the way they look It's their feeling and self That within should be took.
Your words and your actions; With pride you'll stand tall The eye of your heart Gives color to all
Forever
There are not enough words to say, or things that I could do, That could say or show enough for how much I love you. I think of you every day. From me, no one could take you away. I know, inside, you and I were meant to be Long to live and love each other Forever you and me. When I look into your eyes, my mind turns free and clear, To know that you are close to me, close to me and near. Neither can I wait, Until we say I do, But even past that day, I will still be loving you.
You are who I am
You are the words "love" and "dreams" You are my thoughts What is and seems. You are myself A heart of love You are an angel From the heavens above. You are my hands, Gentle in touch, You are my life You are loved so much. You are my eyes You seek the inside, You are my future, my dreams My pride. You are in my mind all the time, You are what makes beauty shine. You are my will, always thought of. You are my world, For you I love. You are the sky, Of hopes and shine. You are beauty, you are mine.
My Outer Side And Inner Me
There are many things different about my two sides, One shows, the other hides. My outer side is wild crazy, My inner side is calm, not lazy. Two more differences that I do see People know the outer me. My inner side is only known, When I am seen all alone. The second things apparent to all, My inner side stands, when my outer falls. A few things that are the same, They're both not filled with pride nor fame. They're both filled with love and gladness, Not usually mad or any sadness. But no mater what you see, They are both a part of me
I'd Give The World
I give my heart to thee, I love and give my life to you. I give my tears, my soul, my help, To make your dreams come true. I give my hands for you to keep, To love and hold you through thick and deep. I give myself to you forever, You are the one I'll always love and treasure.
I Am
I am a poet, a writer too. I wonder if my dreams will come true. I hear the sounds of silent wishes, I see the forgotten. I want to know when the world will end. I am a poet, a writer too.
I pretend to write in my mind I usually ask for things I do not want I touch the skies with my hands I worry for the ones who do not care I am a poet, a writer too.
I understand the unexplained I say to one, "You can lead." I dream of becoming more than I am I've tried the untried I hope my dreams do come true I am a poet, a writer too.
My Love For You
It's amazing The people life can bring, To me you mean everything. Your eyes, your soul, my dream come true Your heart, your self My love for you. You mean to me more than words can say, Our hearts are as; one to stay. My heart was never-ending once It has no place to go, you stopped it with your love Forever does it show. I will wipe away your tears, Give warmth when you are cold, If my arms could reach you now, For you they would hold. If you were a bird, You would be a dove You mean so much to me For you I'll always love Your eyes, your soul, my dream come true Your heart, your self My love for you.
