Some thinkers have already written America off. According to many academics and philosophers America's role as a leader in the world is finished.They are speaking as though America's best days are long gone. Perhaps they are right. Maybe it is time to give up and bow down to what the world wants us to do; to surrender our liberties, and our leadership. But, we do have a choice. In times past, when faced with similar circumstances, America (and other god-centric countries) simply heeded the imperative stated in the Old Testament: "If . . . my people, who are called by my name humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, will forgive their sin and will heal their land (2 Chron. 7:14)." Nothing could be more clear, or more simple. It is all that is required of us to find our way back.

Informazioni sull?autore: Mike Carrier was born in Western Michigan in 1944, where he currently resides. He received a B.A. from Central Bible College in 1967. While a student at CBC Mike worked at the Headquarters of the Assemblies of God as a writer and editor. Mike was named to Delta Epsilon Chi Honor Society, and was awarded a fellowship to study at New York University. In 1970 he received a Masters Degree from NYU. Mike did additional post graduate work at NYU, and at the Dropsie College of Hebrew and Cognate Learning. While at Dropsie, he served as president of the Dropsie Student Association and editor of the organization's publication. For the past thirty-five years Mike has been involved in the security industry, starting his own security company in the late 1970s. He has also served on the boards of various non-profit organizations. During the last fifteen years Mike has written extensively on topics ranging from history to philosophy. Nearly 200 of his articles were published in various newspapers and magazines, including his own publication, "The New Revivalist," which he published during the early 1990s.
