Riassunto: Have you ever...

Wanted to get even with the school bully or with the most stuck-up snob?

Felt sorry for the smallest kid in the class or for the girl who was always ignored?

Been annoyed by the boy who drove the teacher crazy, by the girl who wouldn't let you get a word in edgewise, or by the brain who thought that he knew everything?

Well, you aren't alone. One seemingly normal day at Acer Elementary takes a weird turn when a wild wind starts to blow. Suddenly, some really crazy and hilarious changes begin to happen to seven fifth grade students who finally get what they deserve.

For sure, this Winds Day will be like no other Wednesday that you or they have ever seen!

L'autore: Amy Treece was born in Hobbs, New Mexico in July of 1969--a week after the first moon landing. She spent a wonderful childhood in Hobbs playing frisbee with her dad, talking with her mother and walking barefoot in the dirt of the country road where she grew up. She was often accompanied by her dog, Sammy, who would pull stickers out of her feet. From that dirt road, she saw many tornadoes and grew up with a fascination for them and an awe for the Creator whose breath gave them life.

She graduated from Hobbs High School and continued her education at New Mexico State University where she studied Advertising and Education. It was also here that she fell in love with the man who would forever challenge and inspire her.

After college, she taught elementary school for six years--although she knows that she, too, did a great deal of learning. The children that she was privileged to call her "kids" will remain indelibly etched upon her heart.

She never did fully recover from being born quite so close to the moon landing. Her head has remained in the clouds ever since...
