Paperback. Winter Kinder: When It Snows In KInder Square celebrates the joy of being a child when it snows. There is no doubt that snow changes the landscape! If you are a child, the change that snow brings to the outside world invites so many opportunities to have fun. Whether it is catching snowflakes on your tongue or sharing a toboggan with a friend, the sight of a blanket of freshly fallen snow opens up a whole new world of outdoor possibilities. As you read Winter Kinder: When It Snows In Kinder Square with your child you will rediscover the thrill of simply being outdoors. Your child will sit wide-eyed looking at the illustrations that are bursting with color as you read the words that paint a mental image of building a snowman, tossing a football in the snow, and embracing life with friends while bundled up in layers of winter clothing. Winter Kinder: When It Snows In Kinder Square will remind you of your own childhood. The memories that are sparked will open up a conversation with your little ones that will give them a picture of the world you grew up in. This is not a holiday book. While winter is often associated with Christmas and Hanukkah Winter Kinder: When It Snows In Kinder Square focuses, instead, on being outside, being with friends, and, mostly, being a child. Written and illustrated by children's authors Robin MacBlane and Larry Whitler (Robin And The Giant) Winter Kinder: When It Snows In Kinder Square is the kind of book that you and your children (or grandchildren) can cozy up with together. So, make some hot chocolate, sit in a big comfy chair, and share the joy of being a child in winter (even if those big bulky winter clothes make it a chore when it is time to use the restroom).
