Michael Rundell has worked on such dictionaries as the Macmillan English Dictionary and the Longman Dictionary of Contemporary English. Matthew Engel has edited 11 of the 143 editions of Wisden Cricketers' Almanack published since 1864. He has written on more than 70 different sports for The Guardian and The Financial Times.

An editor of dictionaries since 1980, Michael Rundell is a consultant on theBloomsbury Dictionary series and Editor in Chief of the Macmillan Essential Dictionary. He is a keen follower of cricket, although not a keen player!

John Ayto is an experienced lexicographer and author of many language titles. He is chief etymologist on the Bloomsbury English Dictionary.
