Paperback. "Woodrow Wilson" is a poignant memorial address delivered before a joint meeting of the Two Houses of Congress. Presented by Edwin Anderson Alderman on December 15, 1924, this tribute offers a profound reflection on the life, leadership, and enduring legacy of the twenty-eighth President of the United States. Following Wilson's passing, the address serves as a solemn examination of his impact on the nation and the world, particularly his role during the First World War and his vision for international peace. The text captures the atmosphere of the Hall of the House of Representatives as political leaders gathered to honor a man whose tenure was marked by significant domestic reform and global upheaval. Alderman, a distinguished educator and contemporary of Wilson, provides an eloquent narrative that balances personal admiration with historical perspective. Readers will find a compelling look at Wilson's intellectual foundations and his commitment to democracy. This document remains an essential primary source for those interested in presidential history, American political oratory, and the transitional era of the early 20th century. This work has been selected by scholars as being culturally important, and is part of the knowledge base of civilization as we know it.
