Number 574 of a limited edition of 1050 for sale in Great Britain and Ireland, a further 550 sets were printed for sale in the United State of America. 7 volumes large 8vo (9 1/2 x 6 1/4 inches), publisher's full tan morroco, sides ruled in gilt, spines with wide raised bands and gilt lettered direct, top edges gilt, others uncut. One of 1,600 sets printed at Cambridge University Press in Monotype Fournier (with the capitals reduced in size) on specially watermarked Pannekoek paper. Full tan niger morocco with gilt spine titling, boards decorated with double gilt rules, all edges uncut, gilt tops. Vols. I & II quite severely waterstained at the foot of the spines, III-IV much less so, V-VII. Internally, a very good set.
