nach der Bestellung gedruckt Neuware - Printed after ordering - David Pasti had it all-a growing law practice, a young family, and a full life-until an unexpected calling shifted his path completely. What began as a leap of faith turned into a remarkable journey into the high-stakes world of professional baseball. In 2003, David became a certified Major League Baseball agent, advising high school and college players through the intense and competitive MLB draft process. Eventually, four of his players made it to the show. Today, he continues his legal work in Rockville, MD, while also working part-time with Christian Legal Aid of DC.In Worth the Risk David shares the inspiring story of how God showed up in unexpected ways through every challenge and setback, guiding him to a deeper understanding of his true purpose. Part memoir, part insider look into the business of baseball, this compelling book reveals what happens when faith meets ambition in one of the most cutthroat industries in sports.Whether you're passionate about sports, trying to balance family and business pursuits, or searching for divine purpose in your dreams, Worth the Risk is a powerful and uplifting read you won't want to miss.Endorsements'As is the case for many of us the path to success and meaning is often not a straight line, but a wild and confusing route filled with highs and lows. David takes us on his winding road in Worth the Risk, a journey that will inspire and encourage as we navigate our own path. He was an instrumental figure in my own journey as an 18 year old playing Minor League Baseball. I am still grateful for his help all those years ago and now grateful to experience this story.'Joel Klatt - Fox Sports Lead CFB analyst.Former Minor League client'Dave Pasti is a man of remarkable faith and profound resilience. In Worth The Risk, he weaves a gripping account of his years as a baseball agent and his pursuit of God's purpose for his life. Deeply honest and rich with humanity and humility, Worth The Risk is well worth your time.'Wayne Coffey is the author of more than 30 books, including five New York Times bestsellers. His chronicle of the 1980 U.S. Olympic hockey team, The Boys of Winter, is widely regarded as the best book ever written on the so-called 'Miracle On Ice.''Dave Pasti introduced himself to me as a 'new agent' at the MLB Winter Meetings in 2002. As a 'veteran agent' at that point, similar introductions had happened to me over the years, and I always hoped those I'd met would turn out to be good, honest, ethical additions to the agent business. Unfortunately, that didn't always prove to be the case! Dave proved over the years to be an exception to those kind of exposures. He was always an honest, caring, highly-ethical and hard-working individual, always going the extra mile to do the right thing for his clients. I looked forward to seeing him at numerous events over the years, and enjoyed hearing his play-by-play of his positive progress and successes in our business.'Joe Bick - MLB Agent - Meister Sports Management'David embarks on a transformative journey of faith as he faces the challenges of pursuing his dreams, regardless of the risks involved. Through the trials and triumphs, he discovers that true leadership and success stem not only from ambition but also from love, purpose, and a surrender to God's presence and power. His experiences in the world of sports and law highlight the importance of balancing personal aspirations with family and faith, ultimately leading him to a fulfilling life beyond the diamond.'Dan Britton, President/CEO of SportsLife and bestselling author of One Word and Daily Wisdom for Men.…
