Informazioni sull?autore: Fred served for 37 years in the wholesale building materials industry in Canada and retired in 1981. In the 1950s, Fred began writing his memoir of the wounds and the battles he was involved with in the European Theatre of war in WW II. In 1996, after years of prodding from his brother, Clarence, Fred began compiling is true life story about the real war, real wounds, real politics and real life of that war. He and Stella now live in the warm Okanagan valley of British Columbia in the city of Kelowna with their feline companion, Kneader. They will be celebrating 70 years of marriage on February 3, 2014. This is their story of love and war--where not all is fair--as completed, finally, in December of 2013.
