This "how-to" book seeks to remove the intimidation of learning to ride a motorcycle and shows the reader exactly how easy and enjoyable it can be…no matter what your age. The author began riding at the age of 55 and has already logged over 91,000 miles on a motorcycle. "Riding has become my primary source of recreation," says author Chris Torti, a retired executive of a large non-profit health agency from Austin, Texas. This book will provide the reader with everything he or she needs to know about choosing a motorcycle, learning to ride it safely and properly, how to maintain it, and, most of all, how to stay safe on the roadways and enjoy the ride. The book is short and written in easy-to-understand terms. It is available in paperback, Kindle format, and PDF format for easy downloading.

Chris Torti was born in Smithtown, New York on September 28, 1949. He attended college and graduated from Sul Ross State University in Alpine, Texas. He retired on May 1, 2013 as the Chief of Staff and Chief Operating Officer for the High Plains Division of the ACS. He began riding motorcycles in 2005 at the age of 55. He quickly fell in love with it and has ridden over 91,000 miles and has visited eleven states on his Harley-Davidson.
