Diamond acknowledges Ferrand's good wishes, inquires about what was on the program, and asks "Has Krasnapolski been looking into a guest stint here"? With autograph envelope addressed to both Ferrand and Krasnapolsky, with Diamond's return address sticker laid down to upper right corner Envelope slightly worn and with tears to upper edge. "He was a master of orchestration, both in his use of particular instruments and in his creation of ensembles. Rich sonic palettes are often created using spare means.
