Eileen Pieczonka

Eileen Pieczonka was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois. She had a flare for the arts and pursued a field in graphic design. Her love for horses landed her first graphics position with Arlington International Racecourse. The Chicago winters drove Eileen to follow the sun and warmer climate to Arizona, where she now resides. Eileen is a wannabe cowgirl who loves animals. She has spent years with her rescue therapy dog Jamie assisting children with their reading. This fueled Eileen's passion for children's literacy and her Blueberry Bear series. She has great compassion for animal welfare and supports rescue shelters. Eileen also supports children's literacy, and advocates her time volunteering for Southwest Human Development in Phoenix, AZ. Although Jamie has passed on, Eileen is in the process of training her two pups to follow in Jamie's paw prints.
