Bishop Robert E. Smith Sr

Bishop Robert E. Smith, Sr., is the founder of Total Outreach for Christ Ministries, Inc., and Senior Pastor of Word of Outreach Christian Center, Academy and Daycare, headquartered in Little Rock, Arkansas, USA.

Bishop Smith was born in 1946, in Arkansas, USA. His confession of faith in Jesus Christ as personal Savior was in the mid-1950s. He is the second born of ministry parents, and together with his wife Carolyn Ann, serve the local, national, and international needs of leaders in the Body of Christ, ministering on the continents of Asia, Africa, Europe, and North America.

Bishop has been guest lecturer at Regent University, Reformed Theological Seminary, Ouachita Baptist University, University of Zululand, in KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa, as well as the Headquarters of JB Hunt, Tyson’s food; and given five minutes to speak to a special group at the House of Lords, 10 Downing Street, London. In more than 40 years of ministry, preaching in such places as a leprosy colony in India, to the cold wintery streets of Chicago, his moto has been, “to get it said, and get it done!”

In October of 1978, with a crusade in the downtown Royal Theater in Arkadelphia, Arkansas, the “40” year track began, with offices, radio and other outreach efforts, leading to the establishing of the pastoral ministry in Little Rock on May 5, 1981 in a two-car garage. Now situated in midtown Little Rock on 15 acres, housing the local congregation, daycare and academy K-12.
