Born and raised on a ranch in southern,California, I learned to work hard. ride broncs, bulls and get into plenty of trouble!

My younger years were spent riding rodeo, logging and ranching with some whiskey and hell raising thrown in! Eventually I moved to San Luis Obispo, California where I started the Cresent V ranch and raised some good cattle. I also started Murray Outfitters and for many years I took folks into the mountains by horseback. It was right about this time that I met Grace Pagano and after giving her a good horse and dog she finally agreed to marry me!, The greatest day of my life. We've now moved to Santa Fe, New Mexico where I'm starting young horses and writing my books.Read about a lifetime that has been completely out of hand!
