Chad Young

Chad Young grew up exploring the woods and winding creeks of Kentucky, where a lifelong sense of curiosity and wonder first took root. He earned a Bachelor of Arts from Western Kentucky University, majoring in Sociology with a minor in Psychology.

Passionate about writing since childhood, Chad has long found joy in crafting short stories and poetry. As an adult, he drew profound inspiration from the transcendentalist tradition, particularly the works of Henry David Thoreau, Ralph Waldo Emerson, and, above all, Walt Whitman. Through his writing, he hopes to share that same spirit of curiosity, imagination, and connection with readers of all ages, inviting them to see the extraordinary in the everyday.
