Published by the author, green cloth with gilt lettering. Cloth on the spine is beginning to peel at the top (about 1/2" horizontal section). From the front of the bottom of the spine, there is about a 1.5" split along where the spine. Parts of the back strip can be seen and is starting to peel away at this exposed section. The pages are toned with age. The end papers have evidence of light damp stain. No owner's names. on the rust colored end paper. There is an owner's name and date on a second end paper. The front hinge is cracked on the inside, but is still attached. In the book, there is a hand printed page with the words at the top Vogel's Handbook May 12th 1882. This page contains what seems to be a recipe for developing film pehaps. Codice articolo 002213
