A genuine US first edition/first printing of Roth's hilarious novel (preceded only by the privately printed Franklin Library signed limited edition) with 'First printing 1983' and '1.Title' on the copyright page. Rarely seen in the UK. especially in such excellent condition. The $14.95 price is unclipped. The book is not ex-libris, or book club, or remaindered, and has no inscriptions or marks of any kind. A tiny amount of sunning to the cream-coloured parts of the jacket, but the green front cover is sharp and bright. Red boards fractionally dusty on bottom edge, barely noticeable. No chips, creases or tears. A very impressive copy.
