This 257 pp. book is an excellent history of one of the earliest of baseball's Major League teams. Several historic photos are interspersed. The book is a FIRST EDITION that is unmarked & in VERY GOOD + condition. The jacket was missing most of it's whole spine, but that has been repaired with white paper. It has 2 small chips missing from the rear top edge & there is a 1" triangular piece missing from the top front edge. It has a few wrinkle lines around the edges, BUT as awful as all that sounds, the jacket is now in a new clear archival protector, and actually presents decently, while protecting the V.G.+ book. -- THE PHOTO IS A STOCK IMAGE -- NOT A PHOTO OF THIS COPY !!
