First edition stated first printing of a good hardcover with foxing and staining on the back board and spine, wear to the extremities, minor soiling to the bottom of the textblock, and a sticker or bookplate pull on the ffep. It also has a vintage bookstore sticker on the front ffep with a price attached, in a very good dustjacket with minor loss to the top and bottom of the spine, wear to the extremities, some creasing and some small closed tears and is price clipped. Featuring Captain Peabody of the frigate Delaware, and its exploits cruising at sea during the War Of 1812.
