Ink stamp on title page (with handwritten note: 'discard Sept. 4/68'), faint white ink number on spine. Else Very Good. 'The leader of German neurology during the latter part of the Nineteenth Century was Hermann Oppenheim. Oppenheim's textbook, a landmark in neurology, passed through seven German editions, was translated into English and into Russian, Spanish and Italian. With each separate disease entity in this work Oppenheim gives references to the previous literature, making it a valuable reference source for neurological disease' (Garrison's History of Neurology, p. 300-02).
