A very tight, square, clean copy of the elusive first edition, first printing of Steinbeck's classic novel. A bit of fraying at top and bottom of spine, else fine. Spine slightly darker than rest of book. In a dust jacket that has been beautifully restored by Eclipse paper. One tiny nick and a trace of edgewear are the only defects I can find. A beautiful copy in a beautiful dust jacket. $2.75 price intact and "First Edition" on front flap. Goldstone and Payne A12a.
