Original stamped woven paper post-binder, covers fitted into mylar as issued, screwposts at gutter margin (slight shelfwear, minor rubbing), VG bright copy. First edition of this very uncommon, and texturally fascinating Mid-Century Modern Japanese woven textiles wallpaper sample catalogue, filled with a splendid variety of textures, and often featuring applications of pure metal leaf onto the textiles, or woven into the papers themselves. These durable papers were intended to be employed as wall coverings, as well as feature walls to highlight certain architectural elements, or provide a more natural element in home designs. National Lead Co. is perhaps best known for their Dutch Boy paint logo, and their longstanding resistance to regulating the amounts of white lead in domestic interior paint use. Although undated, the Seattle address still uses the "4" 1-digit postal code, subsumed in 1963 by 5-digit postal code. No copies in Worldcat.

Orders usually ship within 2 business days. Shipping costs are based on books weighing 2.2 LB, or 1 KG. As all international surface mail has been eliminated from the U.S. as of Jan. 27, 2013, all overseas orders will be subject to 60% increased rates. Sets, and other heavy books which are ordered will be requested to include increased shipping costs, if these are not forthcoming immediately, the order will be cancelled. Additional costs will be charged to the purchaser at exactly the postage required to ship if over the quoted amount.
