Paul Rand's stylish eye shaped the landscape of American graphic design. Described as "something of a legend in the field of modern design" on the jacket of I KNOW A LOT OF THINGS, Rand would go on to even greater notoriety in the following decades for his skillful crafting of brand identities. His illustrations for THINGS pop with vibrant de Stijl-ish solid colors, and incorporate charming personality into deceptively simple shapes.
