We also operate under the banner of Orchid Books, the name of our earlier 'bricks and mortar' bookshop, now only online. We have been members of the Independent Online Booksellers Association (IOBA) since 2011.

If payment is direct to us and not via the ABE payment service, credit card (e-transfer for Canadian customers) are the preferred payment methods. Orders usually ship within 2 business days (PLEASE READ FURTHER BELOW ON DELIVERY TIMES). Shipping costs quoted to international customers on the ABEBooks site are based on an assumed weight of 2.2 lb, or 1 kg, including packing. If your order is heavy or oversized, we may contact you to request an extra shipping charge, as required. Conversely, if your item is small and actual shipping cost is significantly less than the ABEBooks quote we may refund part of the charged shipping cost accordingly. If you have concerns about the quoted shipping cost, and wish to have a more accurate estimate in advance of order, please contact us. Shipment to all locations is by trackable, insured and expedited service only. We do not ship by surface post.
