Green cloth hardback book with black title impressions on front board and spine. No jacket. The book is in really good condition, normal wear, marks and tear apply consistent with use and age. Spots of foxing on edge of papers. Signature in Pen & Ink on first blank page, dated 16th June 1933, along with a single sheet of separate headed note paper from a friend who gave the book as a gift, to the new owner on 16th June 1933. First published in 1922, First Edition. Printed in Great Britain by Butler & Tanner, Frome & London. 300 Pages all intact, all pages, text and fabulous illustrations are all in really good, clean, readable order. Prefatory Note from the author. Interestingly many of the chapters in the book were published in the columns of the Glasgow Herald. A fabulous book, worth preserving for future generation and ideal for those enthusiastic anglers.
