A wide ranging book covering a complex and diverse subject. First edition in original dust cover (not price clipped) and no inscriptions. The spine of the dust cover is tanned and there are marks on front. The verso has two tears at top and creasing also there is a small tear and loss near base of spine (repaired and now in a protected cover) . The book itself is very good except for a bumped corner on front board. Size - 222mm. x142mm. approx. (8vo.) Pp. 427 incl. index.
