Stated first edition. In Physics and Philosophy, Nobel laureate Werner Heisenberg explores the philosophical implications of quantum theory, bridging the gap between the sciences and the humanities. This foundational text is a cornerstone of 20th-century thought, reflecting on how modern physics reshapes our understanding of reality. Text is clean and unmarked throughout. A few pages show isolated small blemishes resembling single foxing spots in the margins. Binding is sound, with the back hinge tight. On the front hinge, the gutter is intact and unbroken, though the pastedown is slightly loose from the underlying board near the gutter for a few millimeters stable and not visually distracting. Boards show corner wear, with one corner bumped and a small tear in the cloth at the bottom rear corner. Spine ends rubbed. Dust jacket shows general edgewear, including small rips and chips, as well as ink rubbing and cracking along fore edges and spine joints. Front flap top edge is cropped. Rear panel has some smudging and minor spotting. Codice articolo ABE-1751998433718
