Since ten years ago, many researchers investigated the role of Leptin in reproduction and fertility. Leptin is a cytokine hormone, 167 amino acids and 16 K-Da. It is secreted primarily by adipose tissues. Leptin increases the proportion of oocytes that is developed to blastocysts. Adding Leptin to IVM medium by different levels enhances the maturation rate of in vitro rabbit oocytes. In this work, author was trying to investigate the effect of Leptin supplementation at different levels in IVM medium on rabbit oocyte maturation. 84 pp. Englisch.
