Softcover. Vintage original 8" x 10" black-and-white single weight glossy silver gelatin print still photo of? 1949 American film noir crime film directed by William Castle and starring Scott Brady, John Russell, Dorothy Hart and Peggy Dow. It is the story of an ex-con, a former Chicago mobster, who is accused of the murder of a… high-ranking Chicago boss. The movie marks the second film to feature a young Rock Hudson and the first in which he received a film credit for his work. Very Good with some handling and creasing at the edges.

No Binding. Condizione: Near Fine. Ultra-rare and exceptional watercolor on textured paper by Arthur Lee Loeb (1923-2002), an internationally renowned leader in the field of design science, who combined the worlds of science and art and devised a language of spatial patterns that he described as "visual mathematics," a language…that became the central focus of his career and led to lifelong friendships and collaborations with Buckminster Fuller and Escher. Loeb graduated from Harvard with a physics degree in 1949 and taught both there and at MIT in Cambridge. A multifaceted man, he also broadly performed in both music and dance. His artwork is barely known and exceedingly scarce, this watercolor being a prime example of color interplay and spatial dynamics in art. The watercolor is both titled and signed on back, and measures 14.25" by 10.25", presented under a mat, under glass, and in a chrome frame, total dimensions 19.75" by 15.75". I could not locate either another example of his art for sale online or a record of a past sale of his art. In excellent condition aside from some light scratches to frame. ****PLEASE NOTE EXTRA POSTAGE WILL BE REQUIRED FOR DOMESTIC U.S. SHIPPING. INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING IS NOT AVAILABLE FOR THIS ITEM.
