There's an entire manga based on this book from 1800s Europe. This edition is a Companion Library Edition, one of the first books to bear a legitimate ISBN number. This copy is in near perfect condition, it's a hardback print, it's illustrated, and it's gorgeous.

The cloth is bright red, showing some wrinkling due to the gluing process, corners are lightly bumped, name to ffep, and front hinge has a crack line. 8vo. First set in the Netherlands, it features a foundling girl who grows up poor and sweet, becomes a model for, and enamored with a painter who moves to Belgium.
