A few months before his death, Cayce wrote the 201 pages. Board of Trustees of A.R.E. that he wished Gladys Davis to be his personal representative, and treasurer of the Association. After Cayce's death Davis became guardian and archivist of his Readings. The story of Davis' life is closely allied with that of Edgar Cayce and the Association for Research and Enlightenment.
