Images of solar planets suffer from lack of information with low contrast that may influence on good matching as compared to Earth images. A new algorithm is present in this book for planetary image mosaic which alleviates this challenge. First, a program is build to compensate for some of the geometric distortion (rotation and scale effects). Second, an algorithm is submitting for detecting a match Sift-points between images that depends on the morphological operation.
