Includes on the verso of the title page, an endorsement complete with a facsimile signature by W.A. Sunday--a/k/a Billy Sunday, the noted early 20th Century evangelist. Red cloth with no spine lettering, but stamped black lettering on the upper board. Lightly rubbed and soiled boards, moderately rubbed edges and corners. The upper board also has a pasted paper label indicating prior ownership by the Lincoln St. Presbyterian Church. Music retailer's stamps on the front paste down and the title page. Penciled marks on the ffep and rear paste down. Partial starter in the front hinge. The leaf with hymns nos. 190-195 is loose. All pages are somewhat age tanned. Still, the hymnal, appears complete, the hymns themselves are free of marks, and with the one exception appear securely bound.
