Der Öffentlichkeit der 60er Jahre vorrangig durch innovative, oftmals extravagante und bizarre Möbeldesigns bekannt geworden, warfen und werfen bis heute vor allem ihre Ende der 60er bis Anfang der 70er Jahre entworfenen Stadtutopien »No Stop City« beziehungsweise »Il Monumento Continuo« einige Fragen auf.
