P. Harley, a page of the first proof-sheets of the first edition of Martin Chuzzlewit as originally published in monthly parts, with corrections in Dickens' hand, a group portrait on the lawn at Gad's Hill showing Wilkie Collins, Charles Collins, Miss Dickens, Miss Hogarth, Charles Dickens, Jr., Hamilton Hume, Mrs. Charles Dickens, Jr., Mrs. Charles Collins, Charles Fechter, and Charles Dickens, from a photograph taken about 1861, a facsimile of one of Dickens' last letters, and the candlestick used by Dickens.
