Stapled booklet in grey wrappers blocked and printed in black. Just touches of wear to extremities, corners square and flat, staples show a bit of rust, paper browning as expected, two internal signatures loose from the staples but all there, one short tear on the leading edge of one page, else very good to near fine with no internal markings. One page is devoted to each Anamosa, Jones County, Iowa person who served in World War I, beginning with Miss Pauline A. Quigley, Red Cross and each person is illustrated with a small black and white photo. There is information about their family, when they enlisted, where they served, when they were killed, and the like. This is an extraordinary and rare piece of ephemera related to Jones County, Iowa and WW I--just extraordinary! Date determined from contents which have 1919 as the latest date in the descriptions.
