xvi, 115, [1], [3] pages. Hardcover: H 23.25cm x L 14.25cm. Contemporary patterned green cloth; light staining to rear board; light wear to bumped board corners; spine cloth chipped at head with shallow wear to bumped heel; tear near spine center with spine's paper title label toned and abraded with text losses. Past owner's ink signature at center of front pastedown abutted by O'Casey family Mississippi and Ireland genealogical-themed bookplate; four-line April 1942 ink ownership inscription for Albert E. Casey at top of front free endpaper. Slight toning/foxing to interior leaves; 8cm closed tear to pages 47-48. One quire fractionally pulled with binding slightly stressed between pages 46-47 but otherwise firm. Book now presented in a trimmed clear Dura-Lar (polyester film) sheet forming a dj which enhances shelf appearance. Acquired from the estate of Birmingham, Alabama pathologist, bibliophile, and genealogist Dr. Albert Eugene Casey (1903-1982) who served as director of laboratories at Birmingham Baptist Hospitals from 1942-1972.
