Como nuevo Desde el año 2008 hemos visto desaparecer muchas cajas, algunos bancos y un buen número de cooperativas de crédito. También hemos visto fusiones entre cajas, fusiones entre bancos e incluso compras de cajas por parte de bancos. Hemos visto a la mayor parte de las cajas supervivientes transformarse en bancos, pasando a desarrollar su actividad financiera, "de forma indirecta". Algunas historias han sido felices, otras no tanto. Ha habido también historias felices que pasaron a ser tristes. Tras la euforia de la salida a bolsa de Bankia y Banca Cívica en 2011, vino la constatación de los problemas reales de ambas entidades. Por no ahondar en el drama social que ha conllevado las políticas de algunos bancos, como los ahorros atrapados en el caso de las preferentes. Todo esto nos ha dejado lecciones que deberíamos aprender, para que no vuelvan a cometerse los mismos errores y esa es la intención, en última instancia, de este libro. Libro.
