John Teppich (illustratore). 3rd Edition. very light peach/orange paper cover with full color artwork of potted plant, green gardening gloves, a patch of grass and a small trowel in red/orange and white, the spine is in light lime green linen-like 3/4 which wraps around to the front and back covers, the title, author and publisher are printed in brown lettering vertically on the spine, the back cover is similar to the front but has a drawing of a growing plant with green leaves and orange flowers, front end page has a dedication in ink, pages are tight and clean, with small drawings, 104 poems about gardening, page edges are lightly soiled. Book jacket is same colors as the book cover but is lightly soiled on front and back covers, more heavily soiled on the spine, front cover has title in green cross-hatched lettering, full color art-work of a garden with a gravel path to a gazebo, several trees, flowering plants in terra cotta pots, birds, insects and insects with gardening gloves, a trowel and seed packets, the authors name is at the bottom in black script lettering, another book by author in green lettering, spine has the title in lettering similar to front cover except every other letter is in orange, the back cover has a photos of the author with a model of "Old Herbaceous", a short bio and a review of the book. Inside flaps have a synopsis of the book and an ad for another book by the same author.
