Slim 8vo, pp14 pages on stiff card fold outs with the 704 Mounted colour samples on 12 plates in pairs showing grids of Colour Standards in 6 cloth-backed sections with cloth hinges in a slipcase. Green cloth covered slipcase with gilt titles and device to front board and titles to spine in good+ condition with some rubbing and fraying to edges. Inside original glassine guards mostly missing with plates in very good clean condition with a little colour transfer to plates No.7, 11 and 12. A nice copy in which Dr Wilhelm Friedrich Ostwald (1853-1932) Includes rules for forming harmonious colour combinations taken from his 1925 pamphlet "Farbnormen und Farbharmonien" a work that influenced Wassily Kandinsky, WaltherGropius, Joost Schmidt and Paul Klee as well as other members of the Bauhaus group.
