Buch. Condizione: Neu. Neuware - 'Prose and Poetry' by Fannie L. Avery is a comprehensive and thoughtfully curated anthology designed to introduce readers to the breadth and beauty of the English language. This collection serves as a bridge between foundational literacy and a deep appreciation for literary art, blending evocative verse with engaging narrative prose. Throughout the volume, Avery presents a selection of works that highlight moral themes, natural beauty, and the human experience, making it an essential resource for students and lovers of classical literature alike. The work focuses on developing both linguistic skills and aesthetic sensibility. By juxtaposing rhythmic poetry with structured prose, the book encourages a nuanced understanding of different literary forms. Each entry is chosen for its clarity, educational value, and ability to inspire the imagination. Whether used as a classroom tool or for personal enrichment, 'Prose and Poetry' remains a significant example of early 20th-century educational literature, capturing the pedagogical spirit of an era that prioritized the mastery of the written word. Readers will find themselves immersed in a world of timeless storytelling and lyrical expression that continues to resonate with clarity and grace. This work has been selected by scholars as being culturally important, and is part of the knowledge base of civilization as we know it.
