Da: Cat's Curiosities, Pahrump, NV, U.S.A.
Soft cover. Condizione: Fair. No Jacket. Illustrated in red & blue by Vera Stone Norman (illustratore). Ex-school library showing "Department of Public Instruction / Nevada County / State of California / North Blloomfield Dist. Library" rubber-stamps to blank verso of both endpapers, one with the hand-written notation "Prior to Sept. 1935." Copyright 1929 but possibly as late as 1931. Some staining to rear wrap. As there is no blank rear endpaper, it's likely this was a 64-page booklet and that the final sheet is missing. (If complete, we would grade this copy "good" -- which is to say "not very good; well worn.") Both authors were with the National College of Education, Evanston. The "Toots ran. The cat ran" dumbing-down of the reading curriculum was already well underway, by this point. 62 pp. Reduced from $15.
