Front gutter hinge split and open to binding almost full length, rear hinge split but holding. Ex-College library with the usual pockets and stamps. Text section from pages 193 through 273 totally seperated. Not individually seperated, entire block is loose, but is not missing any pages. Top page edges dusty, front page edges deckled. Mild musty odor. No DJ. Size: 12mo - over 6¾" - 7¾" tall. Ex-College Library.

Someone has printed, Barnes, Albert in the top right corner of the front cover. The spine is missing in spots but the stitching of the signatures is still secure. For what is essentially an ephemeral publication, this is in reasonable condition. ; Barnes was awell-known Presbyterian minister. This sermon was preached in Worcester, Massachusetts. Scarce. ; 8vo 8" - 9" tall; 53 pages.

Hinges are moderately cracked, exposing netting and causing boards to be loose. Boards have minor corner bumping and edgewear with mild rubbing, tanning and scuffing overall. Spine has similar rubbing and tanning with visible chipping and crushing to ends. Lettering remains bright and clear. Book has a slight forward lean.
