Corners and spine ends a little bumped and worn, top of spine quite worn, cover shows light scuffing. Binding beginning to crack in the center of the text, but all pages are present and secure. Text pages a little tanned and foxed but clean, inscription on first free end page is the only marking. 308 pages. Packaged carefully for shipment in cardboard with U. S. tracking. There are chapters for gardening, needlepoint, parties, penmanship, things to make, drawing, history, hygiene, etc. It even has literature by authors of the time period. My goodness! These books are for the well-rounded child. Buy these instead of depending upon technology.
