Draft script for the fifteenth episode of the fourth season of the 1980-1988 CBS television series. Copy belonging to actor Nick Dimitri, who played the character "Archie," with the marker and ink annotations of his name on the top edges of the script's five title pages. Bound in, following the script are four call sheets (printed on the recto and the verso), and an eight-page copied hand-written shooting schedule. The popular, Emmy-Award winning television series "Magnum, P.I." premiered on CBS on December 11, 1980 and aired for 162 episodes over eight seasons, ending on May 1, 1988. CBS remade the series in 2018, starring Jay Hernandez as Thomas Magnum, which premiered on September 24, 2018. Thomas Sullivan Magnum IV (Tom Selleck), is a private investigator living on a luxurious estate on O'ahu, Hawaii, at the invitation of it's owner, the unseen celebrated author, Robin Masters, taking on p.i. cases as they suit him. In the episode found here, Leslie Uggams guest stars as jazz singer Alexis Carter, who T.C. (Roger E. Mosley) fell in love with years ago in Vietnam. Magnum (Selleck) warns T.C. Alexis is trouble, shortly before she reveals she's on the run from dangerous Detroit drug dealers. Set in and shot on location in O'ahu, Hawaii. Front wrapper integral with title page, dated January 8, 1984, with credits for screenwriter Chris Abbott-Fish and Story by Chas. Flloyd Johnson and Abbott-Fish. 63 leaves, with last page of text numbered 57. Mimdograph duplication, rectos only, with blue, yellow, and green revision pages throughout, dated variously between 1/12/84 and 1/16/84.
