Softcover. Tan/white illustrated, stapled wraps with black Cyrillic lettering. [68] with bw frontis portrait and 31 additional bw illustrations. Text in Russian. Begins with a 6-page introductory essay by A.D. Chegodaeva and a one-page chronology. The 229 works in the catalogue are arranged chronologically. Many of the graphics are illustrations for books by well-known authors. Khizhinsky is known particularly for his engravings for the cycles of Pushkin and Lermontov and all kinds of graphics (linocuts, woodcuts, etc.) for posters, illustrations, and more. He was born in 1896 and died in 1972. The catalogue entries are written by K.V. Bezmenova. A scarce and lovely catalogue. VG-, clean and tight contents but with art museum ex-lib. stamp inside front cover, sticker on front cover, and pencilled note inside of catalogue exchange from the Pushkin Museum.
