Signed and inscribed on the blank first front end paper ('to Matt, Best Wishes, Tony, 7/23/87'). The Matt in question is Matt Merola who was Reggie Jackson's and Tom Seaver's agent. I know that because I bought it at Matt Merola's home a good number of years ago. Tony Verna is credited with inventing 'instant replay.' He was a longtime producer of television sports and entertainment blockbusters. The book is in excellent condition. As you can see from the photos, the black covers are perfectly clean. I don't see any wear. The silver lettering on the spine is very bright. The page edges are perfectly clean. The binding of the book is solid. The pages appear to be perfectly clean. I don't see any creasing or dogeared corners. There are no markings. No attachments. And with the exception of the author's signed inscription, no one has written their name or anything else anywhere in the book. You can see the dust jacket in the first few photos. It appears to be very clean. I don't see any tears. I don't see any conspicuous wear. The flaps are in very good condition. The jacket is not clipped. I've had it in a fitted protective cover for as long as I've owned the book. Inscribed by Author(s).
