Paperback small, very good condition, card covers, stapled, full-page black & white photos, staples minimally rusted, front cover minimally rubbed, minor edgewear, tiny owner's written name title page. 81 pp. This little booklet by Richard Lord describes inscriptions from the Cemetery of the Port Arthur Penal Establishment 1830 - 1877. Today there are 76 headstones remaining on the Island, and, whilst many are in good condition, the others are damaged and unreadable. The readable inscriptions have been included in the hope that they may help in identifying the missing details. Some of the inscriptions have been taken from old photos as the headstones were not on the Island when recording was done. These have been included for completeness. Die bundesweite Gef?hrdungsanalyse beruht auf den l?nderspezifischen Einsch?tzungen von 59 Expertinnen und Experten aus allen L?ndern und wurde durch eine quantitative Auswertung der Befischungsdaten von 6.424 Messstellen aus den Programmen der Europ?ischen Wasserrahmenrichtlinie bzw. der Fauna-Flora-Habitat-Richtlinie sowie Erkenntnisse aus weiteren wissenschaftlichen Untersuchungen gest?tzt. Insgesamt werden 9 Arten als ausgestorben oder verschollen und 38 weitere als bestandsgef?hrdet (Rote-Liste-Kategorien 1, 2, 3 und G) eingestuft. Von Letzteren sind 11 Arten vom Aussterben bedroht. Der zuvor als ausgestorben betrachtete Tiefseesaibling Salvelinus profundus und der verschollen geglaubte Steingre?ling Romanogobio uranoscopus wurden wiederentdeckt. Deutschland hat f?r die weltweite Erhaltung von 21 Arten eine erh?hte Verantwortlichkeit, darunter befinden sich 7 Endemiten.
